The ESTEEM – Youth Work Responses to Young People’s Well-Being project was an Erasmus+ initiative bringing together organisations from Latvia, Bulgaria, Spain, and Estonia with the aim of strengthening the capacity of youth workers to support young people’s well-being and providing young people with practical tools to improve their own well-being.
As part of the project, a range of practical and educational resources were developed, including a research report, examples of good practices, a collection of methods, a handbook for youth workers, the educational game “Charge UP”, and a digital application.
The Child and Adolescent Resource Centre (CARC) contributed to the development of different informative materials and dissemination of the project results in Latvia. In cooperation with the Educational Games and Methods Association, CARC was involved in presenting the project’s developed materials and practical tools to professionals working with young people and other relevant audiences.
The project contributed to strengthening knowledge and practical skills in the field of youth well-being and provided youth workers with additional resources for supporting and empowering young people in their everyday work.
The project “ESTEEM – Youth Work Responses to Young People’s Well-Being” (No. 2021-2-LV02-KA220-YOU-000051464) was implemented within the Erasmus+ Youth in Action programme, with financial support from the European Commission.
